Waiting for Baby Hampsten to arrive

One week from our due date and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little one. The nursery is ready, we almost have "everything we need," and the house is in better shape than it has been in years. Dad has caught up on all major projects and even remodelled the kitchen in the progress.
Mom is feeling okay, but Dad says she complains a little more now.... "my back hurts... I feel bloated.... my ankles are swollen... whine whine..." so I'll be trying to work on that. Baby moves pretty frequently and occasionally gets the hiccups, which I think are stronger and stronger each time (is that a good sign of healthy lungs??).

Counting down the days! Everyone has their own opinion when baby should arrive, but no one knows when. The Dr. won't even try to guess, but he says statistically you are late with your first. We just ask for first of all, healthy baby, healthy mom, and then a normal delivery - no surprises.
